I feel like one of the main driving forces for people to try any dry herb vaporizer is an effort to conserve flower. A small amount of bud can go such a long way when you have a vape such as the XQ2. Whether you use the bag or whip attachments, half a gram is more than enough to get 4 people LIT, 2 people FRIED, and one person completely COOKED. I often put around .3 in a bowl and am able to vape for most of, if not all of an hour long editing session. I typically vape these days at 380F. This temperature allows for decent sized clouds, as well as a long lasting bowl.
Dry Herb Vaporizers are not only the best way to stretch your flower. They’re also a cool way to switch things up. You’d be surprised the type of conversation that can be sparked when you begin to inflate a huge bag full of vapor. So many people will think it’s the coolest thing they’ve seen. That or they’ll look at you like some strange feign who’s doings drugs out of an electric inflatable trash bag. Either way, you’ll be memorable.
I’ve never personally been this skilled. But I’ve witnessed friends in the past make an 8th stretch 3 weeks plus by exclusively vaping. If you’re smart with temperatures, vaping quality bud, and actually stopping when you’ve had enough. An 8th can take you quite far. Like I said, I’ve never had such luck nor skill. But maybe that can give you an idea of how far your flower can go in a Dry Herb Vape. And perhaps with some self control as well.
